Possible “pedo” content aside I can verify that the current Mod patch borks the game.

There’s actually a scientific principle that applies when a parent is removed from a child’s life too early to recall.
A) People do tend to be attracted to those that look like they do, or have similar qualities in personality/beliefs.
B) Absence would grant distance from the natural aversion/”thick skin” one gains toward “family” since they were not there to form those bonds. This is a concept that scientists have studied. So while I do think some developers lean into the “I was claimed a criminal but am really not” – until because “Pedo?” I may actually be… – in the MC’s narratives, it does have basis in fact. It’s perhaps a too simplistic/edgelord way to apply the principle, but it works. In the same way a sledgehammer works to make a square peg fit into a round hole. Frankly, she can just take the kids and up and leave one night, while he’s fighting. Never mention a damn thing about where she’s going, or why. Same result, with the kids perhaps deciding that she was in the wrong, and forming a more superimposed romanticism to their “Daddy Issues” because of that separation that was not fair to any of them. Just a thought. Or is it thot… Well, if I can’t play the game, I guess it Be Gone. [This is also why you really, REALLY do not need mods. Color code the answers naturally in your actual scripting of the game. This stuff isn’t rocket science. I’m not here to solve a Rubix Cube, and you’re not really creating “High Concept” art. The “right” answer in about half of these damned games would get any real person put into jail, or charged most likely. Since most women these days think we’re almost all of us pervs and creeps anyway : / Does it really cost you as a Dev that much, to do a bit more work not to make the freaking game a damned labyrinth of “how many ways do you want to guess you’ve fucked something up; and by the way here… now you’ve got to either have 700 saves at each choice or replay the blasted thing from the start”]
