Story - **Pecker PI** starts with an intriguing plot that hooks you immediately. There’s a delightful nostalgia wrapped in its detective noir theme and a sprinkle of humor that keeps the narrative light-hearted, even as it delves into murkier waters. However, inconsistency rears its ugly head with mismatched timelines and clothing choices, tugging the player out of the immersive experience. - 74%
Visual - When it comes to graphics, **Pecker PI** delivers an average visual feast. The artistry doesn't detract from gameplay, but it certainly doesn’t elevate it either. The character designs and environments are functional but lack that wow factor that commands attention. They serve their purpose, but if you're after stunning visuals, you might want to keep your expectations in check. - 79%
Engagement - The game’s humor and atmosphere contribute positively to engagement, with the main character’s self-aware sarcasm often bringing a smile to your face. However, certain dialogues and character interactions can feel jarring and unrealistic, undermining the game's potential to fully engross the player. The pacing also stumbles at times, with moments that should feel tense or impactful losing steam. - 65%
Core Loop - The core gameplay loop of **Pecker PI** offers an enjoyable experience where the player navigates through storylines, makes choices, and uncovers mysteries. It’s that classic detective work of piecing clues together, all wrapped in a charming noir atmosphere that keeps the brain engaged. - 79%

  1. Well I read the synopsis, then the editor review (which is absolute garbage), then since I was bored I went ahead and DL and played through. It really wasn’t that bad, I mean yeah it has some problems but I’ve had a worse time with projects which were more highly rated than this. The previous comment has the timing wrong, and whatever time frame you try to pin to this project, it has huge glaring issues with anachronisms, there is some glaring issue with lingo and descriptions of ‘in country’, war time descriptions, basically trying to channel Lt Calley at My Lai. There is some gratuitous sex that is merely okay but comes up far too easily and the other apparent main love interests aren’t really attended to, one even witnesses a scene with no repercussions which is totally incomprehensible, … Anyway it wasn’t bad for an hour or so’s diversion, didn’t hate it anyway.

  2. Story of group of people who LARP detective story in 1940’s or something. Story has too much BORING relationship building, plot was missing the hook and too little erotic content. Maybe there is enough sex scenes, but the writing or pictures didn’t raise my interest to see them. I did look forward to seeing sex scenes like i was watching boring episode of Columbo. Again a writer that has taken on a little too overambitious project for his skills. Less meaningless side character yapping and faster start for the interesting part in the plot could help. You can milk after you have us readers hooked. 1,5/5

      1. You have all of Dikgames doing this and you’re asking that question about someone criticising the clothes? That’s a weird hill to make your stand on but you do you.
