Story - Animeverse Island presents a bizarre and bewildering narrative that catapults players into an inexplicable world. Unfortunately, the story lacks coherence and fails to provide any meaningful explanations for its peculiar events. The game's attempts at titillation overshadow any semblance of a coherent plot, reducing it to a mindless parade of training and indulging in intimate encounters. - 50%
Visual - One aspect that Animeverse Island manages to get right is its visual style and character designs. The visuals artistically capture the essence of anime aesthetics, giving players a sense of familiarity with the various characters that populate the game. The character animations are also commendable, adding a lively and dynamic element to the experience. - 67%
Engagement - While Animeverse Island boasts a wealth of potential with its anime-inspired schools and harems, the game falls significantly short in terms of engagement. As a sandbox experience, it offers an array of mini-games and quests but fails to provide any clear objectives or guidance. Players are left clicking aimlessly, desperately searching for something meaningful to do in a world that feels empty. - 46%
Core Loop - The core loop of Animeverse Island revolves around training and forging relationships with the available love interests. However, this loop feels shallow and repetitive. The game provides limited options for character development and fails to offer any meaningful relationship-building mechanics. The mindless focus on physical intimacy undermines any potential for emotional connections with the characters. - 55%

  1. Tried it out for kicks. It’s cool as there are no other dudes. Anime characters of course. Needs more content and extended H scenes. But not bad over all. I’d put it in the 70’s.

  2. Game is broken. Entered a softlock after the first week and a half. All of the girls are missing with no way to progress.
