So many incredible characters in this. Lilith, Swansong, Marie, Silver, Rayne, Brandon even, … I mean, I have to admit that even Invictus was done just so well. Each are unique with their own qualities and observer can admire. — Were they any characters I wasn’t impressed with?! I can’t think of any atm; I will have to play again to see. Don’t make the mistake of judging things too quickly… too often you’ll find it to be in error. Such good scene work. And the subtle expressions…! The writing. The story that keeps blindsiding and throwing you, again and again. The atmosphere and moments the amazing music helps create… — I’m even thinking I’m going to have to play the whole thing from start to finish again, to observe it all over with what I know now. Some things may niggle you–back burner them; wait and see.
And the end…man. Well done, I have to admit I even got chills. Good lord. And is that the End, End? Or the end of a major chapter of this story. I mean, it can end here, leaving one to wonder and wonder–but I also want to know what happens in the future of here! I mean, we know there is a story of something that comes next between what Marie may become and what Caleb may become too! — Which I really want to know! Zero End…maybe I can hold hope in the name.

Story – A : The writer has clearly created a broader mythos for this world that it’s not clear they’re going to deliver on, but the general story is very engaging and the world they’ve developed feels real, interesting and threatening.
Characters – A : MC is an edgy know it all stereotype, but the story leans into that. Side characters all fit into patterns, but are all great and interesting all the same.
Writing – A+ : Everything in the story is elevated by the writing, from the characters to the plot. Worth reading for the writing alone, tbh.

Relationships: Not much, at this point, unless you go with .
Updates: pretty long (no surprise).
Animations: ok. Not great.
Overall: Very good. Not worth getting into if you want sex scenes immediately, but the story is really good, and the writing ensures the wait will pay off. Worth investing in.

This is a VN where erotic content takes second seat to the story. It’s an interesting story to follow, I enjoyed following it so far; this first chapter. It’s all done well. Great music. True, the initial women are not that alluring (although I liked Rayne and went with her), wait til you get to Swansong… That girl is smokin’. Evil, but smokin’. And there’s another mysterious women revealed at the end of the chapter, and she could be great too, if the dev handles her right.
Can we get a tag for mystery? I like detective games.
