If you want a novel with good animations, pretty girls, I recommend it but this game has nothing else, the story is cliche and not interesting, the MC is disliked, either because he is a faggot or because in the second chapter he keeps telling all the girls that he is going to leave in a few weeks, even though he is single… The girls trying to impress him and win him over, the sister giving clear signs that she needs him to run the hotel but the MC is like “but don’t get excited because I’m going to leave.” Makes you want to go in and punch the MC in the face “Where are you going back to? To the city you hate? With the ex who didn’t respect you and manipulated your life? To a place where you no longer have a job? Dude please!!!”
In short, this AVN is not bad, there are many worse but 91% is too much, at most 75% and that is being generous

Yeah I tried my damndest to like this game but I ended up so aggravated at all the contradictions that I couldn’t bear to get past the 3rd week and ended up having to bail on this. Jazmin says you’re welcome to see her if you need to talk. You decide to take her up on it, after which she coerces you into sex, then says, “We shouldn’t make a habit of this.” Bitch, you pushed for it, and then you turn around and say that you’re afraid it’s too much? And dumb fuck MC is like, “Derp ok you’re right.”
Then I went to meet Ivy, whom I had picked between the twins to pursue, and she proceeds to tell the MC about how a guy had taken her in many positions, done things to her she didn’t anticipate, and that it was the best sex of her life, then when MC asks her if she likes to take control or be submissive, she says she likes to be in control? But the best sex she ever had was somewhat the opposite of that? Either the author can’t keep his stories consistent or he’s writing some of the craziest women I’ve ever seen anywhere, and an MC who thinks that’s totally normal, while simultaneously having the option to break up with Nicole for way less?
And Sunshine is a complete flake, another one who wouldn’t be anything more than a Tinder pump and dump in the real world. Lures MC in with a lie and repeatedly, at almost every single opportunity, screws him over and not in a good way. The rapey handjob, trying to convince MC that he was still asleep and carrying a mini convo on with him with his cum on her face, and then just vanishing after she said she wouldn’t do anything that affects the hotel without talking first? Not even a note? The MC spends an entire day agonizing and when she contacts him and acts all blase about it, he decides to not stand his ground, and tell her to be back there by morning or she’s on her own, and say he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings or whatever. I’ve played a lot of these, and Sunshine is one of the most horrible main LE’s I’ve ever seen.
The good news is that it is a good story, and I’m sad that the pissy things the characters do for no reason made it hard for me to get fully immersed, because I tried, and I am left feeling bad that I just couldn’t stand to read another line of this poorly executed, contradictory shit. If the author thinks it’s OK to write people like this, then he either has no experience with people and relationships, or is into cuck shit. Seeing that NTR is an option, I’d venture that the answer is both, because that’s not healthy behavior no matter what the fetishists say. They just want to legitimize their perversions and psychological issues.
Also, if this is really the author on this page responding angrily to feedback, I’m genuinely surprised, because I figured him to be a complete pushover cuck. Maybe that’s just when he’s face to face with people and the internet tough guy act is just merely due to the bravery of being out of range. I’m truly sad, though, that I couldn’t enjoy this one more. I didn’t like the recurring theme in Melody either, in which every time you were in her presence, you had to do a series of lewd things to her to even be able to say hello, and she would always have to put a stop to it at some point, letting it get further and further as you progress with her. It’s perv shit though. People in healthy relationships don’t do stuff like that all the fucking time. And Dating My Daughter didn’t even get a look from me because I’m not an incest kinda guy, but I’m sure it had more of the nonsense that this one and Melody has, probably worse because it was the first game. At least that bullshit’s gone in Sunshine Love. Hopefully the author will wise up, because he is a great storyteller.

Chapter 3: The main plot is ended relatively quickly and unsatisfactorily. The stakes of Act 2 are never deeply paid off. As said before, Chapter 2 is fantastic and the reason to play this. Chapter 1 is a good start. Chapter 3 at least ends it, which is more than most sex games can claim.
The Ending-Tron 3000 then lets you pick your happily-ever-after ending; I suggest grabbing the SanchoMod to see them all.
Overall: Worth the time spent.
Game endings seem to be rushed (all very similar) and are all very disappointing and underwhelming. The MC gets in zero trouble if you fuck anything that moves, you just get more options for different endings….lame game.

Agreed. Feels very rushed, unfortunately. And while I would have been massively disappointed if there was no harem end at all, considering how the story was heavily leaning in that direction, the endings we got were kind of lame. You can get one girl, two, three, or almost all, but no ending gives you every girl you’ve been with, as the only way to get the harem end is to end things with the girlfriend, who actually gets turned on watching the MC do it with other girls and is part of many of the threesome endings. How does that makes sense? Shouldn’t she be the main girl trying to get the others to agree to a harem?
But the the worst part? The ‘best’ ending turns out to be a dream sequence. Talk about not sticking the landing.

MC goes to a reunion party with every girl in attendance, save for the original girlfriend, they finally realize he’s had sex with each of them, and because they all love him, decide to share. An orgy commences, lots of group combinations, lots of girl-on-girl action, and the MC even comments about how strange it is how the girls are suddenly into each other as well as him. Then MC wakes up from a nap he had prior to going to said reunion. The end.
Alternatively, if your stats with sis aren’t quite high enough, when they realize MC’s been with them all, instead of deciding to share, they rage and all walk out on him, resulting in the ‘sad looser ending’ as the other anon mentioned, and this time it’s not a dream.
Okay – Just in the first chapter:
The prologue Ashley randomly ducks out on a guy she supposedly “loves” whom she had a 2 NIGHT STAND WITH AND FUCKED OFF WITH HIS BLOOD DAUGHTER FOR 9 YEARS BEFORE TELLING HIM… because Reasons; randomly he comes back, they shack up for the second time AFTER she randomly reveals that it IS his daughter = he proposes she come live with him and his son from another marriage: THEY ARE NEVER MARRIED. She fucks off again, taking SisCon with her for NO REASON – WHICH COUNTS AS FUCKING KIDNAPPING BY THE WAY; NOT ONLY WHEN THE MAN DOES IT! – and comes off as having USED his ass for free roam and board while getting a degree he probably helped her pay for. Why is he bitter? Hmmm…
Nicole just does NOT need to be in the game – THE GAME SHOULD BE A STRAIGHT UP HAREM IF YOU’RE GOING TO FUCKING DATE EVERYONE ANYWAY = AND DOUBLE FUCK YOU FOR SUGGESTING SO MANY TIMES THAT SHE CAN OR SHOULD OR MIGHT CHEAT ON HIM. If she’s DUMB enough to “let” him go to X LD place – which was the only way he could get the job she INSISTED HE FIND! – then she can deal with the consequence of being celibate for 3 months; because otherwise you may as well have just rendered her getting bent over the desk by her own boss or a higher ranked partner just to get a promotion you asshats.
SisCon: Don’t care how old she is by the time they meet again; she can have had boyfriends = she can do BJ/HJ and TJ but NO SEX. The Virgin card if she’s THAT focused on MC does NOT get to be SOLELY for the barely legal bitches. She ALSO comes off as a massive asshole to MC, and then gets to be MORE of an asshole when she makes insinuation about their last meeting; recalling exactly what it was and then backpedalling because “incest” (which is fucking ENABLED in my playthrough. Jesus!) She did NOT need a boyfriend who is a banker – especially with her Mom who I’m not done with yet – because the assertion is she is FUCKING him for his money. [Aside from the fact you really don’t need to start the hotel off 3 steps from condemned; and make getting to 1 star have ANYTHING TO DO WITH RESOLVING FAMILY ISSUES. Fuck Off with ALL of that. Especially when you don’t bother writing in what the hell half of them actually ARE.
Ashley did not need to be the “free spirit” type as a fucking Archeologist/Psychologist (bloody PICK ONE – BUT that’s her problem. Miss I’ve been with several men since your father = WHY. THE. FUCK. IS. MC. NOT. ABSOLUTELY. PISSED AND WALKING OUT FROM THAT VERY POINT??? (Gerald wasn’t the only one she left and from a psyche standpoint she should be very aware of her own issues, and what NOT to say to the kid she abandoned as a secondary fucking mother figure – because from that point I would have told her to absolutely fuck right off and never come near me again. For any reason. She does NOT need to be 41 if you’re going to be dumb enough to do a true harem ending. [The harem joiners SHOULD all end up pregnant by MC – and it shouldn’t need to be every fucking woman you put in the relationship list to get that ending; since Trisha I don’t trust you won’t put there too. Ashley doesn’t deserve to be, SisCon barely deserves to be, and Nicole I’m pretty sure as a girlfriend can die in a fire. She most certainly does NOT need to get all reverse Oedipus complex on MC. Especially pissed me off because she’s the first instance of the VERY LOGICAL CONCLUSION THAT NICOLE CAN AND LIKELY WILL CHEAT ON MC within that LD time period. Women do not wait; and they ARE chased. She would be the very second that she mentions her boyfriend’s gone out of town. By someone, I promise you that. Nicole’s sister all but saying hey come join my Swinger’s lifestyle can also go straight to hell. You’re implying it to anyone with half a functional brain cell.
If this is the way the first chapter goes; what the hell is the point in pursuing anyone sexually? The twins may as well just come out and say Yea we organized a freaking roman orgy in that interview scene where they “can’t tell MC anything” about the party they’ve got to go to. The whole kiss SisCon for us; she’ll know what it means also implies Raven could be disloyal. This is NOT how you set up even a fucking dating sim game. Never mind a potential harem ending. Jesus Christ who wrote this thing. Break their fingers. Shatter them. Because they don’t deserve to be called a writer if they can’t think about all of the implications they’re putting in the game. Not every girl has to be sexually liberated. Most should be portrayed as loyal because there IS a sexual double standard; and it’s MUCH harder for most men to get laid.
End of the day, I don’t even know if I want to unzip the second chapter – and if you do anything to fuck over ANY of the relationships against the fact I’m using a walkthrough (including showing me NTR scenes with Nicole) then I’m fucking tapping instantly out. That’s how much the core premise of this story and the character development has pissed me right off.

That’s how the project was always stretched and in the end the ending is terrible as it was cut off there is no alternative the plot goes like a harem story and in the end, and here’s a bummer my suggestion is that the developers made the fastest end to quickly close the project! I have said many times that the ending of any novel is more important than even the beginning, because it will decide the popularity of the project!

Ok the positive side of this game is the visuals and graphics. animations and renders are mostly really good. The base idea of the story is also not bad.
now to the negative side of the game…. wow the characters of this game are so dumb that you really get triggered playing this game. the MC is the ultimate idiot. supposedly studied law and has been working in a law company, while having the understanding and IQ of a baked potato. Can please these developers let a writer write stories ? and with a writer i don’t mean their 9 years old cousine. Dude the whole idea of the game is that the MC is just temporary there and he declars every 5 minutes that he will be just casually with girls. then suddenly in the next 5 minutes it turns into a lovey dovy full of jealousy relationships.
generally speaking the writing of the story, character and the story line are horrible. but you can skip the dialougs and choices won’t make much of a difference anyway and just watch animations, if you like.

There were too many contradictions in this story to not be angry and struggle to get into it. I couldn’t make it 3/4 of the way through without being so aggravated at how dumb everybody is that i had to bail. Don’t let these chuds here try to gaslight you into believing you’re alone in this. You’re not. This is one of the most horribly executed AVN stories I’ve ever read. I’m so disappointed by how much wasted potential there was here to tell an amazing love story, or just a free for all harem in paradise story. Either are feel good stories. This story just isn’t. People who troll you about it are probably the ones who supported this trainwreck on Patreon and are caught up in a sunken cost fallacy. “If I’ve done so much to support this, it can’t be as bad as everyone says. It HAS to be people being “snowflakes. It CAN’T BE that I’m wrong.”

Hasn’t this game been slow going anyway…I remember this game a long time ago and it’s still only chapter 2
Finally got around to playing/finishing SL Chapter 2 (see my Chapter 1 review below). I used a complete transfer/export game from Ch1 to continue on in Ch2 which was intelligent enough to keep custom names I’d used for some of the NPCs in the story (a nice touch), along with stats on each.
The story picked up right where it left off, but seemed to progress *much* faster in Ch2 than it had in Ch1 (I had the hotel at 4 stars in 2-3 of hours (?) after starting Ch2, whereas even the first star in Ch1 took nearly ten to achieve). From that perspective, it seems like Ch2 is rushing things quite a bit – perhaps the developer is looking to move on and close the story here more quickly? Ch1 had about 20 hours of story, give or take. Ch2 doesn’t feel half that long, even if it isn’t finished yet.
The good: more sex in Ch2 overall, with most of the NPCs in the script (depending on who you pursued). Even a tiny bit of anal and one kink sex scene with a specific lady. Overall, renders and animations were better than in Ch1, but sadly the sex (with the exception of a couple of anal scenes and the one kink scene) are nearly as vanilla as in Ch1, despite being more frequent. It feels like the author/developer never truly takes the extra step to go adventuring in the realm of sex. One exception was some risque outdoor/public sex on the hood of a car, which was a welcome sight. A few chances at threesomes are available in Ch2 as of this time, but only with 2 specific women (twins).
The bad and/or ugly: The characters (both MC and NPCs) in the story are absolute, utter, incomprehensible morons. I found myself almost literally yelling at them for the stupidity on display in quite a few scenarios. No one could ever be this dumb, and yet they had it in spades.
One example of this utter stupidity: your hotel is under assault by a rival who wants to buy it – you know they won’t give up, yet you have zero security in place (no employees watching/patrolling), you have zero security cameras (either inside or outside the premesis), and you have ZERO security on your computer system. i.e. – not even a friggin login password. Spoiler ahead…… A spy inside your hotel sits down at your computer, turns it on, inserts a USB stick, and immediately copies all your data (employee info, salary info, financial info, contact info, ALL of it) to the USB without even being required to input “123” as a password. There was no password in place. No one could be this stupid in real life.
The other thing that truly bothered me about the story and it’s authoring was that the MC is supposed to be in “casual and consensual adult relationships” with the NPCs he knows. He can pursue them, or not as the player sees fit. I don’t think the author even knows what casual and consensual mean though, since the women the MC is “dating” casually and consensually, start to get jealous of each other and at one point near the end of the current version claim something along the lines of “he’s really gonna get it!” when they find out about each other. There’s nothing casual or consensual (or even adult-like) about how they approach it, which completely destroys the context of the story itself. At that point, I basically tuned out and wrote off the story as broken.
tldr; Chapter 2 is better than Chapter 1, but not by much. Moronic actions/decisions by characters destroy the story’s consistency and believability. More sex is a plus, a few kinks added in here and there compared to Ch1’s vanilla sex. Still floating around a 3.2 out of 5. Had the potential to be a lot more.

Played about 70% through Sunshine Love Chapter 1 now, figured I’d leave feedback for others out here so they can judge whether the game is for them or not. I may or may not continue playing through to Chapter 2 based on my experiences so far.
What I see from the game is decent renders with an engaging story, but the sex is so sparse and tame it’s completely and utterly unfulfilling. At my current stage of the game, I think the MC has been laid 3 or 4 times total – most of what he’s seen are hand-jobs and blowjobs, usually from people I’m not interested in getting with. The few characters I am interested in are so sexually repressed it’s like living back in the 1950’s. And it moves *soooo* slow I actually fell asleep last night trying to get anywhere with the plot/characters.
So I took a peek at the scenes included in Chapter 2, and found that some of the characters I was interested in have actual sex scenes there. That’s basically in the “next game” however, meaning the entirety of the first one is one big cock tease full of repression and just story buildup.
The worst part of the game so far is just how vanilla all the sex is. It’s either handjobs, or blowjobs, or very few vaginal scenes. There’s not one threesome in Chapter 1, and absolutely no anal. Again – we’re back to 1950’s sex standards, which aren’t just tame by today’s standards but absolutely boring. And that continues on for (what I can tell is) around 20 hours of story. Click click click to read and get past stuff only to be rewarded with repression and infrequent vanilla sex. While I enjoy some of the story and didn’t play it for a fap-fest, it’s just way too tame for most people including myself.
Going to give Chapter 1 a 2.5/5 rating, based mostly on having an engaging story. The rest is highly forgettable and unrewarding, and while it doesn’t blue-ball the MC, it certainly blue-balls the player. If I get around to playing/finishing Chapter 2 I’ll post a review on it also.
