Editor's Rating

Story - The narrative in *Go! Go! Pizza Boy* can best be described as a chaotic pizza-fueled mishmash with more holes than a cheese grater. Players quickly find themselves frustrated by a lack of coherence in the storyline. Instead of engagement, we get an incessant stream of fourth-wall-breaking commentary from a developer character, which feels like an endless stand-up routine that no one asked for. - 35%
Visual - On a brighter note, the art style has a refreshing flair that holds some appeal, serving up colorful character designs that capture a cartoonish essence. However, while the h-scenes boast fluid animations that could tantalize, the character variety leaves much to be desired. The disproportionately large busts of characters might deter those who crave a more balanced representation of feminine forms. - 59%
Engagement - Engagement somewhat akin to ordering pizza from a place that delivers inaccurately: you might get what you expected, but it's hardly satisfying. The dialogue often strays into the realm of cringe, diluting any chances for genuine humor or connection. The sandbox feature is a head-scratcher as well, serving more as a frustrating click-fest rather than a means to explore the world. - 41%
Core Loop - The core loop feels repetitive and uninspired, showcasing a lack of depth and engagement. Players are steered down a linear path without the thrill of choice or consequence, reducing the gameplay to a series of click-through interactions. The day-and-night cycle is clunky at best, throwing a wrench into any attempts at immersion. - 32%
