Just be honest here, besides the very good visuals this one IS A BAD PROJECT.
Unfortunately it has very good visuals when the most others VNs have below average ones.
Story wise: it goes for a complicated story which most of the times leads to a bad product (it still is a project).
Choice wise: it’s fucked up!
The MC meets a MILF (cougar actually, buts lets go on) who wants to pay for MC’s phone >>> if the MC has 2 women with him she pays nothing, if he has 1 she pays half the price, if he has none she pays the whole price!!! WTF!!! Character wise she will pay no matter what! Because she’s a nice lady or has ulterior motives doesn’t matter>>> she will pay for the phone.
The MC likes a woman who she seems has interest in him too. BUT oh boy! she rejects him because he has accepted a better payed job??? WTF is going on? she should be happy for him! Not to mention that he will still work under her as she is the manager in the business!!!
The MC is in a drinking “game” at a party in a “cabin” and decides to drink nothing because there are so many ladies and he wants to fool around with them or cause he wants a healthier way of life (it’s in the story). Yes the user picks all the “do not drink” options. What happens is the MC gets shitfuckfaced drunk no matter the choices!
The MC picks a bedroom to sleep in >>> it’s a “game” the ladies picked for him to see whom he will bed and it’s clearly stated to him in the story. Because he’s shitfuckfaced drunk he can do NOTHING with his bed partner. Actually at this point the woman (or lady if you prefer) should have kicked him out!!! BUT lets continue. The morning after, his bed partner ask him for sex and he refuses!!!!!!!!!! WTF! In the story it’s clearly stated that the MC likes to party, to drink, to fuck and fucks a lot. At least in the past. It’s clearly stated also that the MC likes to have “fun sex” nowdays (it’s shown in the story too) and he isn’t romantically involved with any1. AND HE REFUSES A WOMAN WHO BEGS HIM TO FUCK HER WHO IS BY THE WAY THE 1 WHOM HE PICKED TO SLEEP WITH!!! What happens here??? an unlogical algorithm runs in the fapper’s fantasy and ruins his fun. Hahah Heheh it’s really fun_tastic!!!
There’s no need to mention more examples or the freeroams although there are issues there too.
About the content now >>> half of it has NO reason to be in this story, it just doesn’t belong. We understand that there was needed much effort and time to create it and we appreciate it truly, but if it was cut out (as it should) the project will have been half as big as is now, not to mention that DriftyGames probably would have created another 2 chapters or 1 more at least. And believe us it wasn’t fan at all to be forced to go through this crap with the hope that smg will happen >story wise.
The sex scenes are good as scenes, but not in pair with the quality of the visuals. As is stated at the start these are very good. The animations overall are very good (mostly). It’s a known issue that the quality of the animations varies in the VNs.
DriftyGames has already offered at least 1 very good product. We are truly sorry but this project doesn’t seem to go that way.
Some1 should try it for the very good visuals but did he had fun at the end of it? We didn’t.

I like it a lot and I’m in for the story and the way the dialogues are written. I just had a good laugh with the Teagan shopping scene – you have so many shopping scenes in these games and vn’s – but this is the funniest one :)))
For those of you that have had problems loading saves from the previous versions like me, you have to copy the .rpyc files from the /game folder in the previous version to the /game folder in the new version. A dev of this magnitude should know that you have to keep the .rpyc files from the old version when you create a new version. But they can put an auto-browser open function in the loading screen to Mega. Fucking devs.
I have the newest version and after the beach party when you get the wrap up report I can’t figure out how to start chapter 3, am I missing something?

Unfortunately, in the latest update the MC is still masquerading as a young man with the face of a 40 year old. The dev should have swapped the Lars model for the MC. Then the story would make much more sense. The current MC could easily be the older Lars guy from the hotel. There are also more useless video game elements like the girl’s “mood” at the big party. I guess making a great game like “Leap of Faith” was a one-off thing for DriftyGames.
The entire game runs on a free roam like all of it and you have to litteraly find every thing in every where to be able to purse a route this is insane this game cannot even be played without a walk through its impossible like I casualy played the free roams and I lost 75 percent of content due to reason I said and by the way celestie bathroom part is bugged and if you can’t find her there which isnot happening because of bug you can’t choose to date her and about roxy I don’t even know what I did wrong but I lost her content also sometimes free roams make games intresting and more fun but here it’s just sooo annoying I hope at least sb does a complete walkthrough on it because this game is just not playable without it

Finally got through it after initially getting stuck in the club. The girls are great. The only thing I like about the MC is that song he played with his guitar on the beach. I think the title is “Coming Home”. It is not part of the music playlist and I could not find it anywhere online. At least the Dev should have put it in the credits or something. It is a great tune.
I really like concept of these games LoF and u4ia … the music makes it much better, rendered videos where characters move (and i dont mean sex scenes) and everything make this game much better then others.. i cant wait for new update.. and i really enjoyed LoF, i will play it second time with other decisions 🙂

Well, I absolutely like what Drifty has done with his new game.
I could write a long review of how I percieve the game, but I decide not to do it.
A bit too drunk at the moment, for starters.
AND I would just encourage anybody to delve into it, don’t let a personal judgement of physicality by whoever, cloud your own judgement – don’t let people who dislike free roams dictate how you can enjoy the game (I just LOVE free roams, couldn’t care less about anyone who disagrees).
Play it, get immersed, and decide for yourselves.
For me: 8/10 currently and convinced that it will go up progressing with each update.

MC, ugly in appearance. Pretty or ugly is subjective but it stops being subjective when all the women start seeing MC as a piece of juicy meat from the first glance. And it doesn’t help that MC constantly shows signs of being a child in an adult’s body. By this I mean that MC is a very poorly put together character. To attract women you need at least one of these things, being physically attractive or having an attractive personality. MC is pretty ugly and his childishness is horrendous. It doesn’t make any sense for women to drool over him. With that alone I gave it a maximum of 4 out of 10. If the central character doesn’t make sense, and the behavior of those around him doesn’t make sense, there is no story worth it… and that is not subjective.
Like I wrote: the physical appearance of the MC doesn’t bother me and it definately isn’t gonna influence me enjoying this game.
I don’t care who or what you find ugly, I don’t care that you dislike the game. I didn’t write it for you or anyone who feels the same as you do.

The story is ok but kinda missing the flow LOF has.
The music has some decent songs in there but also some i can do without. – so then i turn the music off.
My biggest Issue with this game is the sandbox elements there are just to many
and they feel like Work , laboured im not having much fun doing them.
Still has potential to become a nice VN it is nice but so far imo not at LOF’s level.

After playing this, I feel like the author previously just had a huge stroke of luck. Clearly this game doesn’t measure up to “Leap of Faith”. In fact this guy doesn’t even know how to develop characters. It’s not that “Leap of Faith” was brilliant in that regard either, but at least it did its job well in hooking you a little from the beginning by showing the interaction between MC and his friend. Their chemistry was quite entertaining. And then the whole Cece thing and his suicide attempts drove the story. The rest was garbage but it wasn’t so noticeable because of what I mentioned before… However, we don’t have any of that here. MC is boring, physically ugly and has the mentality of a teenager (throwing a woman with a fear of heights from a great height, only a real idiot does something like that, and that’s without taking into account a bunch of other stupid things before that)… The backstory is boring. The author tries to create suspense but personally I was not hooked at any point, because so much nonsense happens in between that whatever little good thing is lost. As I said, MC is physically very ugly and most of the women in the story fall for him even after MC shows them with actions that he is an idiot. Maybe if the dev showed some real human behavior, but he don’t know how to do that…
With this it is clear to me that Leap of Faith was just a unique moment of inspiration, a stroke of luck that will not be repeated.

The scene with Celeste doesn’t play when you find the key for the jet ski, she isn’t in there. At the end however when looking at the summery it says “you found her in the shower and she was extra flirty”. Didn’t happen. Is this a bug or what’s going on?
The first 2 chapters are realy short for my liking. The narrative is very promising (emotional drama incoming?) I got some “Stay” -2005 vibes. Story 4/5
