Story - "Under Control" presents a narrative that tries to sprinkle in some drama amidst the adult-oriented chaos. Players navigate through interactions with attractive characters, which tantalizingly flirts with more profound storytelling. However, the story stumbles under the weight of its own ambitions. Key minigames disrupt narrative flow, leaving players less engaged and more frustrated than invested. - 59%
Visual - The visual presentation scores better in this arena. Character designs are undeniably appealing, flaunting some impressive artistry that draws players in at first glance. Environments are meticulously crafted, creating a vivid backdrop for the action. However, some scenes may suffer from awkward transitions, leading one to feel as though they’re watching a slideshow of moments rather than immersive world. - 76%
Engagement - Engagement might be the Achilles' heel of "Under Control." The allure wanes significantly when faced with repetitive tasks and minigames that promise to deepen the experience but often feel tedious and unnecessary. Many players find themselves wishing for an "auto-play" feature rather than constantly engaging in mundane activities. - 52%
Core Loop - The core loop leaves much to be desired. While it's evident there was an intent to create a balanced cycle of activity and reward, the reality is far from it. Players often feel they are trapped in a cycle of repetitive tasks, hindered by poorly designed minigames that seem designed to punish rather than reward. This leads to an overall feeling of frustration that hampers enjoyment and drives players away. - 45%

Shit game. First of all it’s Unity so no easy access like renpy, secondly it’s a sandbox and the most annoying type there is. You have to shower, eat and sleep and all this goes down so quickly that’s what you’ll spend most of your time doing. Lastly the English is horrendous, it reads like a Russian guy that just took 2 or 3 English classes and quit. The renders look great but it’s simply not worth the hassle to see them, especially with this terrible English dialog. You can’t even take screenshots because you can’t hide the UI. Played for around 15 minutes and deleted the trash off my computer.
The first thing I check is to see if it’s Unity or Unreal. If so, I skip to the next game. Those frameworks are glitchy, laggy, CPU demanding at times, and so 1990 game-like. Most times, I find the graphics are sub-par.
Thank you for a thoughtful reason to skip Unity games, Sparky. Have a cookie.
