2023 marks a huge milestone on The Inn‘s development with the closing of it’s first chapter (fucking finally, right?).
The game has evolved in a lot of ways since I started it way back in 2018 and nothing of that would be possible without you!
And, well… It looks like Christmas came early this year (and so did I)!
This is also the release post for the FULL Chapter 1 of The Inn (AKA 0.09.02)!
As I said before, it marks a huge milestone for The Inn‘s development!
It closes what I like to call “Hometown Homecoming” arc, sets up the story elements for the next chapter, answers some questions and introduces new story elements and key characters.
A proper changelog follows:
- Added one new, somewhat lenghty event that closes Chapter 1.
- Added two new fetishes to the Fetish Selection Screen.
- Introduced two new characters.
- Remade Navigation assets for Joana’s House’s Entrance.
- Updated the Navigation Icons for Joana’s House.
- Changed the display name for Joana’s House’s Entrance to Front Hall.
- Changed some dialogue lines in previous updates to be more in line with stuff added in this update.
- I hope you have as much fun playing as I had working on it!

No grinding…but girls are a bit “too” easy. From story point of view no relationship build…girls tend to fuck MC the day they meet, forget their restrains immediately (husband dies and she gives in within 2-3 days despite being faithful to him all that time, girls sheets on boyfriend on 1st meeting with mc…). Somehow the girls all feel like sluts despite always pretending they didn’t have anything since a long time. Well more in fap side than relationship build.
But well done in that aspect. Some fetish can be deactivates right from start.
This games has some surprising goodies.
First can be played as classic VN or sandbox. Both working (not always the case in others pretending so).
Second despite sandbox, not much of grinding like most do (no need to repeat same event 20 times to finally move 1 step further).
The animation as good. The jokes are very 1st degree (I like it a lot…no feeling of author trying to show off as educated person but just some absurd straight fun stuff…makes the whole experience a relaxed moment).
From the down side i would just say that 4GB already is a lot. Considering there is not that much content. Don’t know how much content the author is planning the size can get really impossible to manage. Or it would require to split in “seasons”.
Was really pleasant to play, will definitely keep an eye on it and see how the updates are coming out (speed + size) and consider supporting if author is dedicated.
