Although the game contains heavy subject matter there is plenty of humanity and humor as well. These are not street bum junkies. I wanted to shed light on what it’s like to be addicted to drugs, what it takes to maintain that, and ultimately say enough is enough and choose to get clean. This game is very personal to me based on past experience. All of the characters are fictional, but the lifestyle is not. Since I am anonymous here, I would like to take the time to say I’ve been sober for over 16 years, just so no one thinks I’m currently living this life, but I certainly did.

Make sure you “Load” the save Lydia told you to make at the end of Ch. 11, in order to start Season 2 Ch. 12. Only this save will work for S2 Ch. 12! If you did not make a save you will have to go back and do that, at the end of Ch. 11 in order to continue (Android users should read the dev notes tab, as it’s a little different for you). You can read more details in the link below.
Saves!
Make sure you play all the way to the end of Ch. 11 and make a save when Lydia tells you to! Only this save can be used to continue on with Ch. 12. Your previous saves will only work with Chapters 1-11 of the game.
You will need to load the save Lydia tells you to make in order to play Ch. 12 when it releases. If you fail/failed to do this you can find links to Chapter 1-11 in the OP, or below in my Patreon public release post for Ch. 11. Any questions in the thread about this issue will be directed to this post. So again, make a save when Lydia tells you to, that way you don’t have to go back and redownload Ch. 1-11!
Also, (and this should be obvious from what I just wrote) you can NOT start a new game for Ch. 12, you will just be told to load the save. You MUST play Ch. 1-11 first and make a save.
This was done to reduce the file size of the game.
Note: You can make more than one save, but they have to be done when Lydia tells you to.

Mac:
You need to copy paste every content from the update only folders into their respective folders, overwriting where necessary, if the folder is not existing you can copy the whole folder (To see the content of an app, right click the app and pick Show Package Contents).
Ex. – Navigate to your (“DefendingLydiaCollier.app\Contents\Resources\autorun\game” on Mac) – both require v.0.15.9 – and copy and paste the “v21.new.rpa” file there.
