Is this game totally abondoned ????
That is one hell of a cliff hanger
To add to John_B’s comment; the game lacks the one tag it needed (and non punitive countermeasures because of that tag it does not have) Harem. The game is presented as you can pick any girl you want, and you can choose to get with them. However it highly pushes you toward family members; and the VERY first girl it gives you in that push will break things right off with you “forever” (by the last update as I think the game’s been effectively abandoned by now) without even giving the player the chance to properly explain circumstances OR choose if they want to win her back by pursuit.
There are two OTHER rival mob families that you absolutely NEED to pursue the girls involved with to “conquer” the mob aspect and take the throne. Which was the point of the game. There was a sequence with an “already involved” cop lady that I know you’re SUPPOSED to be able to get her to boink MC (somehow – but fuck me if you guys can find the answer; I don’t think it was ever properly implemented as a love interest route anyhow = I’m also fairly certain it would have been a coercion thing in vein) and there are meant to be 3 different options by which you take the Throne of the city. There’s just WAY too much going on as far as factors to how you can fuck up. Without even knowing it. The creepy assassin dude that breaks into the house just to “add tension,” didn’t need to be there. It breaks the narrative that MC is at all ever GOING to be capable of taking the top spot in the mob. The storyline with MC’s Mom being connected to his father didn’t need to be there – because since WE are pushed by recommendations in the walkthrough to pursue her sexually, it CAN be counted as NTR.
The aunt is not needed, though at least we don’t actually see her fuck the guy she’s cheating on her husband with – and complicates matters in pursuit of her two daughters. The one “wild” cousin didn’t seem to give a toss if MC gets her pregnant by letting him cum inside of her; but there’s no way in hell that doesn’t go wrong. The siscon character is just a see-saw and probably a cock block. But here’s the thing; you can call the game “Oath of Loyalty” AND make it a harem. Because any girl IN the Harem is effectively sworn loyal to the MC ALONE. He is also shown “loyal” to all of them, by how far out of his way the PLAYER goes to help ALL of them. Otherwise they’d not have been added to his harem in the first place. The red-head was hot; but she was also flagged Massive amounts of T.R.O.U.B.L.E. Her family is more the stealth specialists hanging in by their teeth, so there’s really only ONE rival family, and for some very involved issues, the guy running it pretty much hates MC on sight. Which doesn’t get better when you start boinking his sister.
Game did have some potential to start. Problem being, it was going to require a VERY nuanced path forward, and a smart narrative that DID NOT punish the player for choices made to see through to the end. There’s a way to create credible antagonists, and my friend – you wrote in way too many to start with. “Antagonist” isn’t always an actual person. It’s also any greater obstacle that the MC needs to overcome. Just the job of getting HIS mob family up and running again, AGAINST a father who’s become a fuckwit in decisions and a poor take on Sonny from the Godfather (who I believe is the one that for raw idiocy just needed to be shot) is already enough. When the odds of being caught just by the cops (which is why the lady cop SHOULD have been able to be “Bent.” Over, or otherwise; at the player’s discretion) were stacked against MC in the first place. Getting all the girls to get along, once any of them know that you have mob connections – A) would have meant most of them either come off merc central, or B) starved for stability and protection & willing to sign on with the literal devil to get it – was already a hard sell. The assassin bullshit really didn’t help your cause. Because players play to WIN. Not see how badly you can fuck them over by creating so many branching paths to a “game over” that they can’t see the only way out of it.
