Now that I’ve had some time to settle into my projects, I’m now able to start releasing updates for Never Meet your Heroes.
This update titled as “The Visit” focuses on visits from several characters.
In this update, we are introduced to Dia’s vigailante form; Madame Thick, along with the story continuation of Mia and Dia.
The update also contains several bug fixes and you are able to continue the story with Chantelle who returns to Massia to visit you.
All scenes can be accessed from your bedroom provided you have completed the main story.
You can expect some new updates soon all leading to the eventual DLC I will be releasing next year (more news on that soon).

not liked at all, I haven’t finished. Sorry developers but for me it is a 1,5 on 5.
The coding is hard, dumbass. I feel fortunate when I find a game where even one of these parts is enjoyable.
It’s amazing how hard you can work and screw up the game. The plot is terrible, the images are terrible, the lighting is terrible, and the worst thing is the pacing. You had great game making possiblities but you couldn’t use them. I wish it wasn’t this way but your game is crap!
The entire creative process of writing, staging, and coding must be pretty hard. I feel fortunate when I find a game where even one of these parts is enjoyable.
The best we can hope for is improvement for later in this game or any further one they might try.

Note Regarding Ren’Py Save Editor.
There is a way to permanently remove the save file checking, if you are trusting of the download site files. This will return Ren’Py behavior to prior functionlity and allow you to use the V1.6 Save Editor. I will not post any links, as this is Buyer Beware, however, if you search for ‘renpy editor security-keys.txt’ you will see the hits that show you how to do this.

Also, the game tracks time really badly and you could end up losing several days without noticing it

But extracting each one doesnt update any files it overwrites them, which surely defeats the object?
I dont get anything other than an overwrite prompt using Winrar and 7Zip.
