Disclaimer:

The game tries to download a file from the internet. It is a small file, no larger than a single kilobyte.
This file is a simple text file containing the current list of patreon supporters.
This feature is enabled by default, but can be disabled in the game settings.

THE GAME DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO HAVE INTERNET!

If you deactivate the internet connection or deactivate that feature in the game settings, it will just fall back to an internal, more out-of-date list.

BUT THE GAME WILL NEVER EVER SEND OR UPLOAD ANYTHING TO THE INTERNET.

I’m german and we we have one of the most strict copyright laws in the world. No fan of breaking those laws. We have 2 legal codes dedicated only to copyright and 3 more containing additional laws for copyright.

I WILL NEVER UPLOAD YOUR DATA WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. THE GAME ITSELF AGAIN DOESNT UPLOAD ANYTHING.

Anyone still unconvinced can check in the github repo, since the game is open source.

Information for using savegames from older versions:

I made sure to keep all the save files created from 0.1.2 and upwards compatible. The old saves should have no problems loading. For the selection of the new proficiencies, you’ll get a prompt to select one.

IMPORTANT! It is possible that you get an error while loading an old savegame. In that case, you can just click on ignore a few times until you land on the map or get a selection menu. These errors are due to possible compatibility problems, like changed image paths or small changes in some game objects, but don’t worry. The game has self repair mechanisms and once you return to the map all of the problems should be fixed. It is possible no location is clickable on the map. That can be fixed by opening and closing the journal or skipping the time.

A visual glitch is also possible on the map when loading an old save-game or when encountering an event with missing images. The map is still usable though and that glitch is fixed after going through another event.

Almost all of those images are due to using savegames from older versions, BUT they shouldn’t compromise the games functionality and are mostly visual bugs that come after loading. After fixing the bugs with the steps mentioned above and saving, those problems will be gone for the new savegame file.

Story - - 58%
Visual - Here lies the game’s saving grace. The rendered images provide a visual cohesion that sets it apart from many competitors who rely on varying art styles. Each scene boasts a consistent aesthetic, contributing to a polished experience, even if the content is scant. The attention to detail in the renders creates a more immersive atmosphere—like watching a well-made animated series. - 74%
Engagement - Engagement falters heavily here. With an unwieldy amount of grinding for a meager payoff, players may find themselves reluctantly clicking through scenes rather than eagerly anticipating the next twist. The labyrinthine nature of event triggers and the sheer volume of repetition can make the experience feel more like a chore than an adventure. - 39%
Core Loop - The core gameplay loop—build, corrupt, and explore—has promise but ultimately feels underdeveloped. Players are left guessing where to go and when to do it, which can lead to frustration rather than excitement. It’s a missed opportunity for engaging gameplay that could elevate the experience. When the reward for effort is as scant as it is here, players might find themselves questioning the grind's worth. - 49%

  1. You defend in both the overview and the info tabs that “sharing & free love” were always planned; and then go out of your way to state explicitly in the info tab, that there will only be ONE Main Male Character… So; you have a HAREM game, and simply refuse to call it a HAREM. (Most harems even though it irks the fuck out of me, still include Bi or Lesbian characters – this is not a new thing)

You’re literally being obtuse for no reason, and that IS likely to cost you subs who won’t play it because it’s not LABELED with the Harem tag (for all intents you’re designing it to be one anyway by your own admission) and they don’t agree with either Sharing, or “free love.” Which is usually code for it doesn’t matter what I fuck, or who’s fucking me.
