Story - “What Day Is It?” presents a narrative that leans heavily into the shadows of human experience, and boy, does it not shy away from diving into topics that many prefer to tiptoe around. The plot is linear yet layered, leaving plenty of room for interpretation and curiosity. While it grapples with themes that can feel like a slap in the face, it’s these very elements that breathe life into its short runtime. - 76%
Visual - Visually, the game does not disappoint. The renders are crisp, and the art style manages to convey a moody atmosphere that complements the narrative beautifully. The music sets the tone, enhancing the immersion, even if it sometimes feels like it’s biding its time as the storyline takes center stage. Overall, it's a treat for the eyes, with attention to detail that helps pull players into this world. - 80%
Engagement - For a visual novel, engagement hinges on how effectively a game can draw you into its world and keep your interest alive, and “What Day Is It?” does just that—sort of. The unique exploration of darker themes is emotionally compelling, but the lack of explicit content left some players feeling a bit shortchanged. I guess it’s akin to building a rollercoaster but forgetting to include the drops. - 71%
Core Loop - The core loop revolves around navigating a story that, while clever and thought-provoking, lacks a solid structure due to its unfinished status. Players are granted glimpses into complex scenarios but ultimately left with more questions than answers. The promise of future content is tempting but feels like a tease, pulling players into a cycle of anticipation that is yet to be satisfied. - 60%

  1. Maybe it was meant to be a psychological horror AVN, idk. I could say it’s pretty unpolished because it’s too short, although I couldn’t stand more of the story. Still, you have a sick fetish if you like this kind of VN tbh. You could just watch porn of a similar genre instead.

  2. Hope some read before downloading like most made me wonder why is it on top trading, curiosity.SAVE YOUR TIME AND AVOID, not sure if that supposed to make you sick or is that some kidn of bad taste joke

    1. Keeping girl in a basement has nothing to do with femininity. Besides I doubt you ready to return to your role – as a serf or cannon fodder for the noble and rich.

      1. Return? forced jabs, open borders to steal your jobs and high taxes.
You’re a slave. Disenfranchised and you don’t even know it.
You drive your shitty truck to your shitty house. Live out your shitty life.
You think you are better than me because you play by the rules?

  3. is this even a game ? should it supposed to be fun ?
i would prefer it if he was rich and she was a sugarbaby, totally dependent on his gold and unable to break free.
