Story - Unlike its predecessor, which unraveled its plot with delightful twists and character-driven nuances, *Recalibrated* suffers from an overabundance of exposition that weighs down the narrative. Characters fling themselves into the player's life, armed with their contact numbers faster than you can say “plot development.” This sequel feels more like a chaotic gathering with too many uninvited guests. - 62%
Visual - Visually, *Recalibrated* appears dated, resembling something from a bygone era of gaming—perhaps designed on a whimsically underpowered potato. While the original featured crisp graphics and vibrant character designs, the sequel seems to have lost that aesthetic charm. The lighting is disappointingly flat, creating a bland environment that does little to spark excitement. - 55%
Engagement - The game’s engagement factor takes a significant hit due to the way relationships are presented. The quick introductions strip players of the thrill of discovery, leaving little satisfaction in forging connections. With multiple choices available right out of the gate, the touches of freedom feel more like a paradox—overwhelming rather than liberating. Rushed dialogue detracts from immersion. - 51%
Core Loop - While the core gameplay mechanics remain intact, the innovation is sluggish. The attempt at implementing new systems, such as a phone mechanic, feels clunky and cumbersome. As players navigate through choices, it becomes evident that a rewarding loop is eclipsed by a confusing array of options that leads to paralysis rather than enjoyment. - 65%

  1. Seems that your average wannabemarine “jock” usually smarter than majority of posers who unironically call themselves “nerds”. Not to mention less toxic and overall more manly and fair. Which is funny considering how this days “nerds” whine everywhere that modern games lack masculinity (they certainly do but it’s not for them to talk about that). Looking back you would suddenly realize how many movies portrayed “nerds” as good kids opposing aggressive masculine “jocks” and winning girlfriends (ahahaha). That crap was propagandized by Hollywood. Now we know why. They tried to effeminate men even back then. What an irony that today “nerds” themselves more annoying than worst of the “jocks”. So this game in turn left me perplexed – on one side you get nerdy cuck as a hero, he is somewhat pathetic. On the other side – he is still a good guy defeating caricature villains. So this was nerdy attempt into self irony (failed as anything they touch).
Frankly this division between supposedly clever and stereotypically strong was never a thing before the Jews and their “divide and conquer” crap turning men against each other. Any old hero before would be as strong as he was smart. In fact if you would read any saga, myth or legend of any nation you would see that cunning enemy often tried to win by deceit and hero had to be creative as well as brave and skilled. Furthermore any academy back then included athletic or martial arts in their curriculum and many men who excelled in science were in fact good athletes and/or skilled with sword (some also rode a horse and many fought at wars). Actually if you read about any well known warrior or leader – all of them were notorious for their intelligence and tactical innovations as well as personal fighting skills and masculinity. This was necessary combination to qualify.

  2. Just judging by the editors rating… doesn’t seem like it’s any good… unlike the 1st one.. which is a fun banger

    1. I can break a spear in favor of the dev.

I played his previous job and found it interesting.

If nothing else, history, concept and art in general are above the usual mass of renpy games (boring and mediocre games up to Infinity).

The dev, seems to have (or in any case to participate from the point of view of the art of drawing) also an additional “pseudonym” acex, whose other game you can find: Escape from Ivy and Piper.

I can certainly say that in the latter (Ivy and Piper), I found one of the best animated scenes (including creampie and cumshot) of the rendering in Renpy of the last 5 years. (Rule34 Style)

In addition, it is quick to issue quite substantial updates (non-micro-aggregation, which are equivalent to absolute nothingness, as in the case of the latest productions of other “developers”))

He certainly also pays attention to the wallet.

Well noted: I am not an easy “praise” user, in fact, in general, they are exactly the opposite because of the mediocre mental tendency that surrounds this type of games and their “creators”, which as imagination are almost close to Absolute zero. (But as a fantasy in the extorting of money to unaware users, nobody beats them)
