Story - The overarching plot is a mishmash, leaving characters and motivations underdeveloped; the attempts at depth feel more like a mirage than actual substance. When a game can be described as having “stupid” moments that might provide comic relief, it raises the question of whether it’s intentional or a happy accident. So, while it may snag a few chuckles, true engagement with the story is hard to come by. - 40%
Visual - The art style possesses an odd charm, but the execution often falls flat, akin to a performance that’s both rusted and surreal. The game also incorporates unusual elements, like AI-generated text-to-speech, which may entertain or make you cringe. So, while it deserves a nod for attempting something different, the visuals overall have a long way to go. - 35%
Engagement - For all the absurdity served with a side of derision, the game often teeters precariously on the edge of a laughable experience. It can be amusingly bad, and for those who revel in the chaos of “so bad it’s good,” *Mother Village* may indeed provide fleeting moments of joy—but it’s more likely to evoke a fair share of frustration. - 50%
Core Loop - The loop feels like a carnival ride that abruptly stops, leaving you dangling upside down, questioning your life choices. Players will find themselves running through visual novels that often culminate in odd distractions rather than genuine gameplay. With much of the content locked behind a paywall and the experience often resembling a disjointed demo, the core activities feel shallow at best. - 45%

  1. Good grief, I have to draw the line on this shit, I can understand interracial relationships even in games, but for interspecies? There has to be a line drawn. Even for a game, your mind has to be really twisted to get into this shit.
