Love Genex [P2 v2.1.0] [Reboot Love]

Okay, so a few points – do note: I’m currently still finishing part ONE. (In this current update starting a new game let me get past an ignore Rollback error that was going to tank my affection with the Siscon, which is where I had to stop because it dents the HAREM narrative you guys want this to be * It’s not in the tags, but the gallery shows 2 specific Harem Tagged scenes, so anyone that wants to rebutt that statement, do kindly not. You’d only make yourself look foolish)

* The story progresses unreasonably quickly, by going each day.

* You only get 2 BLOCKS of time per day to train anything, and you CAN’T actually train your super powers.
[You have to gain a level – which costs SEVERAL DAYS; even if you do both time blocks to level up faster]

* You also need to work periodically to afford certain events. Training also costs money directly
[Needless limitation on an ALREADY very limited system of allowance for power gain]

Two points tied to the above problem:

– at around 22 Strength it tells me I can’t train it anymore as I need better equipment
(as yet I have not found how to counter this)

– Training for money also makes it harder to actually build the harem in the long run.
[You can and should be able to exercise for free – it’s called the fucking YMCA dude. There are ways]

Tied to all of this actually gimping your chosen play style/gain of skill stats:

* There is a pointlessly troupe-y Time Cop plot point that was never clearly explained (and if it involves a mystery girl who will take center stage as an LI that would be nice to know next time. Damn it!) Which you WOULD NOT need in the first place if you structured the story the right way.

Here’s a suggestion for how I would fix it, which can be implemented going forward as you choose:

– Give us a CHOICE of the first girl to fuck; so we can pick something beyond Captain Generic as Fuck!
[Almost every super hero and their grandmother has some form of enhanced strength guys… his is not even that impressive; and CAN’T be leveled past 2 as far as I’ve seen]

* You get the wind stuff from Winter way too early because of the structure of the game day story jump bullshit; so you can’t actively train to SURVIVE that fight… and still work to level up so you CAN train the fucking superpower that wasn’t even his to start with! (The wind stuff ONLY unlocks the AOE – which if the very next important battle is against 3 fucking retards!!! – might have been useful to start at Level 1 not 3; and then power it up per level like the strength… Jesus)

– Structure the story to progress the plot BY MONTH. Not each day. That way the Player gets a little breathing room in leeway to train the way they want, and might not need to actively have a SKIP Fights button.

– 1 to a stat per $50 spent is BULLSHIT. 5 to Health, but 10 to Energy is also BULLSHIT. Again, if it was per month, it’s a bit more workable – and still intentionally gimping the MC from being all that effective in battle. WHEN you progress to the next area that unlocks higher training I hope the stat gain is better. Fuck me. [Bare minimum it should be 5 to each Core Stat per go; 1 point to REGENERATION = Why the FUCK can’t we train that superpower? Or find a Humongoid or whatever the fuck you call it that makes us Wolverine?!? At this rate, he’s gonna need to be Deadpool, and I hate that. 5 to a Core Stat and 10 to 20 to Health/Energy – just as the starting point. THEN you have a decent RPG for what you’ve structured here]

– The money should be MORE than what you’d need to train per day. Raise it to $150 or $200 if not $250. Then you aren’t penalizing the player just for wanting to train their stats to be strong enough to survive the bullshit plot based losses that again you won’t need if you let MC actually TRAIN! (Screw time based powers = All that does is bork your story, fuck with the player’s heads, or allow you to fuck the MC over just because you have a rewind button)

– Introduce girls with more useful freaking powers = and get to the fucking point of the building Harem! [I’m in the camp of Fuck Femdom Content/Fuck sharing/Fuck Forced bullshit – but at least you do let the MC Dominate the Femdom idiot… so there’s that] I get that you want us not to trust the Thread and Jesus is an example of I Might Be A “Hero” BUT I’m Also A Massive Dick troupe, and yet the POINT of the game is to make your MC more powerful. Which he CAN’T do without FUCKING! Slow burn is only going to tide your audience in suspension of disbelief for so long. You have him more focused on fucking a group of teens from school that as far as we know aren’t GENEX. Why? It’s not going to help him survive the shit you’re throwing at him. If they WERE Genex, secretly, and or word of his actual power got out… and all the girls had to decide on their own if they WANTED to give him their powers, you’d have a better reason to gate off sex progress in building a genuine relationship first. If they eventually GAIN powers through experimentation or alien tech or cosmic energy or something = Then I won’t care so much that you’re wasting this much time on a harem with women that are effective LIABILITIES to your MC.

** That raging fury thing is ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT! You may as well say, NO Player… we DON’T want you to be a villain, even though we’re GOING to say we’ll give you the choice; here’s something so unappealing when you think about it, there’d be NOTHING worth the cost of actually GOING Villain. Fuck. Me…

Now that said, these might improve the structure by implementation but since again I get told I’m overly negative so often here’s the thing. The structure is workable, and a good start. It wouldn’t be able to be improved so easily if the foundation of it didn’t have potential. There’s just… a lot more you can actually do with it. However I will state that even with an Auto Tame feature to “The Prison” (Taking away the choice of whether she FEARS or TRUSTS you as far as I can see – when Fear is the cheaper option) it’s still blockading and overbearing to add a secondarily TIME PUNITIVE system into the game when you already ONLY GIVE 2 blocks of time per day. Which is another reason I’d suggest major plot progression by Month instead. It would also give the player time to get a handle on how to effectively manage things, so they don’t NEED to Auto Tame, or worry about borked taming progress. If you were going to add in a second system like this – there ALSO needs to be a higher gain at Jobs, in order to negate the increase costs.
