Story - The narrative largely feels like a collage of anime influences, making it somewhat relatable for fans of the genre. However, just like that mixed bag of candies you find at the bottom of your backpack, it lacks coherence. The story is punctuated with moments of comedy and power fantasy that can be entertaining but ultimately lacks the depth required to keep players emotionally invested. - 60%
Visual - Let’s talk visuals! Here, "Destiny's Embrace" does not skimp on the eye candy. Character designs and animations showcase a level of polish that leaps over the muddled masses found in many indie titles. However, while it excels in portraying characters, it perhaps leans a bit too hard into the genre's clichés, lacking unique artistic flair. - 76%
Engagement - Fans of casual play will find an easy way to lose themselves in the game’s offerings. The narrative flow makes it digestible without requiring much commitment. But here lies the rub—while casual engagement is commendable, the lack of decisions to make or paths to explore feels incredibly limiting. You can't help but yearn for moments that challenge you or make you ponder the next move. - 50%
Core Loop - The basic loop of exploring character interactions, coupled with the sprinkle of visual storytelling, offers some entertainment. The frequent sexual content spices things up, catering to those who don’t want to slog through a ten-hour dialogue just to get to the goods. However, it soon becomes routine, and that excitement can wane. Given that choices feel inconsequential. - 55%

Please why is the android version in a zipped file, why can’t we just download it normally?
So far, it’s got a decent set up in story. A little convoluted – and clearly ripping off Jutsu Kaisen in a very obvious way if you’ve seen even the first episode (I’ve seen the entire first season) – but it’s workable. The females are all attractive enough. Though I’d like to know why some have such weird designs in their eyes; is it a symbol of their magic signature or something, or just an aesthetic anime thing? I don’t like that the main character is basically stated to be a Demigod; and you kill his ass off way, WAY too easily, just to impose a character bond on him to “save his life.” When according to who his ‘father’ is – and I do not know how you think that a Goddess can impregnate a mortal female outside of being an Asari – the MC should effectively be UNKILLABLE. On his own merit. Fuck I can’t control/master my powers = there are some that are straight up passive. They do not need to be controlled and frankly are already ‘mastered’ at base. Regeneration is one of them. Otherwise, Wolverine would already be an Omega classed mutant. You also havent actually implemented a way to TRAIN said abilities, and that lack may frustrate some players. Especially if you wait an update or two to actually put the option in the game.
The women almost all have tits that are a size or two too big, but that’s the regular Anime hyperbole. I get it, I don’t agree with it, but I can ignore it. Mostly. The progression system with the girls SHOULD NOT be locked to the end of all available content = and it NEEDS to apply in the next update DURING story content. Else why bother with it? I like that it’s there, but it needed better integration within the story. As well, training with your, let’s call her a “Guest” in your own Domain isn’t even implemented yet. So like I said, it’s a good set up so far… but most of what it is would be the prologue and maybe actual Chapter 1: The story’s barely started, and they’re still setting the world building up. Take that into account if you want to download this. I’d recommend it to anyone that’s okay with the cartoonishness, as it’s not a bad story to be told and they do get the power fantasy that a harem story is supposed to be. Barring a few bumps, as I’ve named.
There’s the point that you sign on to an Adventurer’s Guild ala Goblin Slayer, but even with your special status somehow the girl that reads power signatures to place rank starts MC at the bottom rung. How??? It doesn’t necessarily matter other than being tonally dissonant. Because about five minutes tops later, all hell breaks loose to interrupt an “exam” that should’ve proven MC was at least the “special” grade… and should have been allowed to BE COMPLETED, before you started the battle scene. It’s improperly paced. Anyway, he ends up getting into trouble from more than just the introduction of his Aunt. Who of course even though she’s heard about him all of his life and he knows fuck all about her, attacks him for interrupting a fight that didn’t need to happen. (There’s a mark on X character’s body that would be different, but was noteable from the time she was evil; and it’s CHANGED – in the course of the story. Which Aunt should have been able to SEE, and comment on) And during the course of the beginning of that fight, MC is mantled as the Captain of Lust – which is a rank in X country’s armed forces. That also somehow exists outside of, but alongside they’re slated military. Okay then. There’s the fact that he’s royalty, technically; was raised ala the Moses parable, and didn’t know it. There was the potential to actively search and FIND answers as the course of the story went on… but again, problematic pacing is in a massive rush. So we don’t get that quest. He just gets told what he is, who his family is; and has a few flashbacks. Then believes that X is true. I understand you don’t want the audience to feel gipped of the power he should have; but that doesn’t mean you can’t make us work a little bit to get there. You’d have a longer and more fleshed out story that will engage more players that way. Just saying. Calm down, take things a bit slower, and actually make the quests for the guild. Use them as side content to introduce more girls, and more power to MC’s new faction. Build up the actual army unit for the war to come, and don’t trip over rushing to the end of it. The antagonist IS likely going to end up in the MC’s harem and anyone that’s ever seen a harem anime arc KNOWS it. If it goes too quickly, you’ve got nowhere to go for the rest of the story, and a quicksilver race to the ending may disappoint those of us that did invest in the tale. One final point to note is that there’s only yet one actual SEX scene in the game. The rest is foreplay, which is not a sex scene. There’s a difference. It’s not necessarily a quick fap game, and that’s not bad, but it will make some players tap out. [There is a scene which was not shown, wherein the MC is stated to have ‘finished’ a total of five times, with two different girls – and that was BADLY done of you because one of the girls states that she’s going to give him her VIRGINITY! SHOW THAT. Do NOT skip that scene!!!] * It’s fine if it was all foreplay, but I don’t see him being that level of patient if he wants to get laid… so I’d retcon that in the next update or two tops. Show. The. Full. Scene. Or don’t bother making them.
Overall, it’s a good start, and this game has potential. I’d like to not see it wasted. Keep up the good work.
I will say you do realize a demigod can still be killed right since they are still half human so they are not unkillable
Usually, said godly parent would intervene; For example Themis dipped Achilles almost fully into a special water; but left only the heel she dunked him in by untouched. Creating his only noteable weak point. Or it is the path to actual godhood like in the case of Heracles. Or Castor & Pollux. [“Immortal” still counted to the Greeks as a divine rank; it was however seen as the least powerful] * The debate around Herakles being whether he did in fact ascend, dependant on whether you attributed his human side as the people’s champion or the divine aspect which was said to have actually achieved apotheosis at his living end. He’s noteably the ONLY demigod I’ve ever heard of in any mythos that did actually achieve full godhood. Not just immortality, or being “hung in the stars” or elsewise permanently commemerated. He is noted as the Defender of Olympus alongside his two sons, as the only gods that are stated directly to be it’s guardians.
Demigods do tend to be DIFFICULT to kill was my point. Not butchered in the first actual fight when the dev built up the MC’s supposedly massive magical power (which wasn’t all that impressive quite frankly)
Short-ish answer – I write novels in series’ heavily based in Greek Myth’s style of divine hierarchy/D&D structure and general supernatural fare. So yes. I do realize that demigods can be killed. I’m very well versed in Greco Roman Myth, as well as Celtic, Nordic and to a point Egyptian. I’ve also extensively studied several variant of vampire mythologies, and lycanthropy.
