Gonna point out that the part that explains NTR tag has been removed because “At one point MC’s secretary gets RAPED… but she was never pursued” is bullshit.
The game has the Harem tag; I was intending when it was still named Bastard, to pursue her – and it never covered the notion at all that she had ever gotten raped, or would be. So YES. She counts – or should be counted – as a potential love interest. There was certainly enough flirting between them that I thought she was going to be possible to get into the harem at some point. But it’s possible the main story has been retconned all to hell.
Either way NTR does NOT belong in a harem game. If it’s Neotori (and you are the one doing it to your boss with his wife – like in the original concept of the game was at least heavily leading up to) then it’s fair enough but there are those who’d debate that point as well. Having the secretary get raped is more of a WTF moment for me. Why. In a harem game, would you EVER go there. With ANYONE the MC is connected to. Even tangentially, and especially professionally. Most of the women in the damned game the Player should be free to pursue or not at their choice, if it IS going to be a harem. So you’re just creating controversial content that’s likely to piss the audience off, for no reason.
* In the original game I believe the MC was also recently divorced, or heading that way… so again I don’t know what’s changed in that regard. I would however hope that they’ll consider removing the rape from the game. Especially since if you wanna get real technical; whether I’d agree or not on principle of the fact these things are all fantasy… Paetron does have strict policy against showing non-consent. So the dev may be risking their account, or their ability to monetize the game, for what? One scene that doesn’t need to be there. It doesn’t make the secretary’s story more interesting, or her more relatable as a character. It certainly isn’t going to improve her damned attitude… but that’s just my opinion. And who gives a crap what I think. The mods couldn’t even be arsed to post the one I made on Ephemeral Gate. Not even sure this one’s gonna go through.
