Story - In this game, the plot is more of a suggestion than a fully developed story. You step into the shoes of a protagonist who has just landed a job with an ex-au pair, and from there, it’s less a tale of blossoming relationships and more an endless loop of *“next scene, please.”* The writing offers just the barest context, with a few flimsy dialogues crammed in to segue from one sex scene to another. - 17%
Visual - The visuals are a mishmash of generic Honey Select assets that feel ripped straight from a stockpile. While Honey Select is known for its somewhat stylized character models, in *All's Fair in Au Pair*, the reliance on these familiar assets creates a sense of fatigue rather than fascination. It's almost as if the characters themselves are aware of their lack of originality, offering passive stares. - 33%
Engagement - You’d be forgiven for zoning out during play because the dialogue is sparse and uninspired, and the interludes between the repetitious sex scenes do little to build engagement. Each moment feels very mechanical—there’s an obligatory chat, a click to see what’s behind Door #1 (Sex Scene #1), and then a rinse-and-repeat.
