Download Update only - v0.90 -> v1.00

  • The patch may break your game, use at your own risk.

    Windows/Linux:
Unzip the content anywhere, move all content to your main folder (where the .exe is). Overwrite all necessary files. (Untested).

    Mac:
You need to copy paste every content from the update only folders into their respective folders, overwriting where necessary, if the folder is not existing you can copy the whole folder (To see the content of an app, right click the app and pick Show Package Contents)
Good
  • Deep, engaging sci-fi story with strong world-building and faction lore.
  • Eight alien nations and three corporations with meaningful diplomatic choices.
  • Solid renders, decent writing, and above-average animations throughout.
  • Choices have real impact across factions and the station's development.
  • Builds on Callisto's strengths with bigger scope and political depth.
Bad
  • Convoluted overlapping systems — mining, refining, manufacturing, R&D, fleets, spies.
  • Story events trigger out of order, breaking narrative consistency badly.
  • Ship-building has dozens of parameters that should be simplified drastically.
  • Clunky UI makes interconnected systems hard to read and navigate.
  • Pacing is too fast in early game — barely meets characters before jetting off.

  1. Tag this shit right, it turns into sandbox, wasted download.

  2. There is too much micromanagment,
you have to survey mining points, again and again.
Then you have to drag the materials into the smelters.
When done you you have to build the components
for the ships and then you can build a ship…
Why not tell Maeve to fill the bins with materials you need,
tell the fabricator what ship you like and they build
    the parts they need.
You have an AI on your station!

And for more fun, many of the events are autotrigged when
a number of days is reached, so micromanagment with deadlines.

No thanks, doing this at my job is one thing but for a game for fun???
