Customizable characters

If you dont like wasting time by creating your own custom characters, you can use custom characters created by different people.

This is a database for a custom characters, that you can input into a Koikatsu Sunshine.

How to add a custom character into a game:

1.) like with all modding, backup your game directory before making any changes.
When you break something in your game, then dont cry here. Live and learn.

2.) download a PNG file with a custom character from the site.

3.) place PNG file into a game directory:
for female characters: ../KoikatsuSunshineExBetterRepackR10/UserData/chara/female
for male characters: ../KoikatsuSunshineExBetterRepackR10/UserData/chara/male

4.) Play the game. When you are in your room, click on ” Booking “ and ” Register Guest “. Click on the image of character you want to add and confirm with ” Done “.
Note: if you cant see the PNG image you have added, then that char file is probably broken and doesnt work. Or you have done something wrong.

5.) (this is optional) When the game moves back into ” Booking “ screen, click on the ” Appearance ” on the right side to confirm, whether your custom character works fine. The game will show the body of custom character and you can modify it. If something looks wrong, then some custom mod files are probably missing and I would advice to stop using that custom character and remove it.
If you know what are you doing, then you can try to add missing mod files, but that is for more experienced users.

There are more sites, where you can find custom character files, that you can add into a game. But those sites usually offer char files for basic Koikatsu and they usually dont work correctly in Koikatsu Sunshine.
If you know what you are doing and you can fix missing mod files, then you can download from those sites.
