Story - Let’s get this out of the way: the narrative structure and dialogue in *Soulgasm* is a head-scratching exercise in pretentiousness. The game aspires to elevate itself beyond typical adult fare, but it ends up feeling like it’s trying too hard to impress. Choices often feel hollow; they offer “Big Choices” with the allure of significance but largely lead to the same destination. - 46%
Visual - On the visual front, *Soulgasm* truly shines. The artwork is vibrant and rich, effectively capturing the essence of each character. Brilliant animations breathe life into what could have easily remained static images; expressions are spot-on, and the colorful palette engages the eye beautifully. Each scene is crafted with a level of detail that elevates it above many of its peers in the genre. - 83%
Engagement - Navigating the game unfolds through a day cycle mechanic, where players interact with various characters and complete tasks. While the existence of missable interactions adds a layer of depth and strategy, it can also lead to frustration. Frequent saving and reloading become necessary to fully explore the content, which can break immersion. - 70%
Core Loop - The core gameplay loop relies heavily on exploration, interaction, and decision-making. However, the so-called “minigame” during intimate encounters interrupts the flow and distracts from the main allure of the game—narrative and visual engagement. The forced division of character dynamics into strict dominant and submissive roles also weakens the potential for nuanced experiences between characters. - 61%

  1. since the dev seems to be a sadist, it’s hard to get to the one sex scene with Nova, I several times came to an end of this version without getting anything at all – so far this is only one animated – the sex scene with the witch girl is very promising but not animated

  2. A very highly anticipated visual novel, after finally playing this I can confidently say this is one of (if not) the best fantasy visual novel I’ve played. The hype around it was worth it. Can’t wait for more content in future.
