This build is recommended for new players or those who want saves compatible with the Steam Version as well as Part 8. This build is on an entirely new executable and therefore won’t see old saves from the previous versions. You can technically manually move saves between the versions but I can’t guarantee compatibility on that. Starting over sucks, but it does guarantee the most smooth experience going forward.
Old Version
This build is the final update to the previous Part Seven builds, recommended for players who just want to prep up their Part 8 saves. This build is made with the old executable so all saves will be there. It will transfer to Part 8 just like previous build so both versions will work for that. A small warning, I had to upgrade my Renpy edition to make the new code function and in testing there were some errors. I did my best to iron out the main ones, but a few could have snuck through. If the transfer save screen pops up as normal then you’re totally fine and ready for Part 8 if it spits an error that means a variable snuck out somewhere.

Dear Dev, I know its a bit too late but please learn some facts about things you are writing about. One who made all the way into “Ranger school and finally to the 5th Special Forces Group” will never end up doing shitty MMA. Ranger badge today is a default requirement for any infantry company commander as long as he is not planning to leave military the next day he got his college loan paid (and no, you can’t get there with a street fighting background). But Special Forces absolutely not what you think it is. They are not even military intelligence (although perform some of this tasks with heavy emphasis on intelligence – i.e. ability to think), they are military advisers and guerilla organizers trained to stabilize friendly and destabilize hostile regimes and run revolutions in conjunction with CIA and average IQ in their units way above college level. MMA fighters simply not in their league. To compare – average Green Beret doing much less shooting and way more planning than average SEAL (also usually older than any of them).
