This is pretty good. It’s impressive technically with the rollback being made part of the game and all kinds of tricks like picture-in-picture in some of the sex scenes, a minimap, different types of QTE. The writing is impeccable, everything’s very smart person coded: MC and LI are both prodigies in their university, at one point there’s a remark in passing that Laplace transforms might not only be used to solve differential equations but also provide qualitative analysis, the MC struggles to use a computer because of the tiling window manager his not-sister has installed.
There’s only one real love interest and lots of side characters you can fool about with or not as you like, and they’re all compelling and well-written. I think this falls into the Harem Hotel trap of succeeding in its goal of being an AVN and establishing and developing its relationships, and then—not having anything better to do—deciding to tell a completely different story, in this case about the MC being forced to fight all his life because he was poor and how that turned him into a monster. Eventually this narrative seems to collapse under its own weight and the game abruptly ends, with promises of future updates.
