JFYI Windows 7 was released in 2009 (i.e. 16 years ago) and its extended support ended in january 2020, which means it hasn’t been supported & patched by MS for the past 5 years and is full of holes. Its market share is 3.57% according to statcounter. I am not sure why the OS requirements may have changed for this particular game but if i had to guess probably because its underlying platform, renp’y, was upgraded along its windows librairies requirements. Whining to the dev about losing support for your 16 years old unsecure OS, thinking they should keep using old frameworks & tech relying on unsecure windows librairies to humor a fringe 3.57% of people, etc, seems like the highest level of delusional entitlement.
This said you should better use an up-to-date linux distribution (e.g. Ubuntu) than your unpatched & unsecure 16 yo MS crap.

Season 3 comes with some new bugs: the quest are in Russian, no matter the selected language; you can change the MC’s name, but when the dialog is internal (thinking) is Diana no matter what. But that’s not the worst part; If you tried (like I did) to get rid of the lame and idiot boyfriend (in the last season), well it doesn’t matter because this season you’re on a marriage path no other option. So thank you dev for not giving a shit on player choices, and thank you dev for the fucking sandbox system that comes along in this season. What’s next? Some stupid little games like tic-tac-toe to elevate the player’s brain level? It already became a “be a slut to get points” kinda game, so too bad for the nice models, good renders and a decent 2 seasons that I hoped that would get better in the 3rd. I’m sorry, but I’ve lost intest in this one…
