This is one of your complaints I never really understood. What these devs do is really unimportant. Deeply unimportant. Hilariously unimportant. People complain about people paying for this shit why? Are you actually sympathetic for the people on their patreon or whatever site, or do you just want to complain about it? And it’s not just you, it’s other people trolling the same thing.
From them I think it’s a lack of imagination. Other people see people effectively trolling with words like “shill” or “fag” or “cuck”, so they use it, and it becomes a boring cycle.
The dev doesn’t come into it at all. It’s all verbal masturbation. I also think it’s interesting that you do the research to find out how long a game has been in development for. Again, like that makes any difference. How long was Lost on for? Was that “milking”? *Of course it was.* To complain that people make product in attempt to get paid is stupid. You’re not a shill to your job even if you like it; you’re there to get paid.
And this is a free, FREE, download site. A game could be in production for 10 years and I wouldn’t care.
