Act II – The Occupied Heartland has been added, featuring 6 new dungeons: The Withered Fields, Thornwood Edge, Ashmere, The Webbed Deep, The Iron Depot, and the Act boss, The Muster.
New enemies have been added, including the Demon King’s army, Iron Order knights, satyrs, direwolves, and the Spider Queen.
Act II now has a complete ending with 10 new CGs, the introduction of the Veiled Voice, and new revelations about the Entity and the mysterious red threads.
A new End of Act II screen has been added. After reaching the end of the current content, you can continue playing, farming gear, and leveling your heroes while Act III is in development.
Aldric’s new Shadow Form is now unlocked after Act I and can be activated during combat as a free action.
Shadow Form introduces Summon Shadow Knight and Summon Shadow Mage, which can also be summoned directly into an empty rank.
The new Ascension skill transforms the Shadow Knight into the Elite Shadow Knight, giving it armor-piercing attacks, Riposte, and the Crown of Skulls.
New blue hellfire visual effects have been added to Shadow Form.
Heroes can now level from 1 to 6, gaining additional HP and damage as they level.
Dungeons, enemies, and equipment now have levels. Higher-level content also has better chances of dropping rare equipment.
Skill upgrades at the Crimson Embrace now require hero levels 3 and 6.
A new Burn status effect has been added. Burn deals damage over time and reduces the target’s PROT by 10.
Lust Haze and Consumed are now persistent effects. They remain active until Lust is reduced enough to remove them.
New anti-stall mechanics have been added. Passing turns and manually swapping positions now increase Lust, and extending fights unnecessarily will make the heroines increasingly restless.
At 100 Lust, Aldric can now grab a heroine as well.
Accuracy has been increased by 10 for all characters to reduce frustrating miss streaks.
Bleed and Poison now keep the stronger existing effect instead of stacking repeatedly.
Repeated debuffs can no longer stack indefinitely.
Enemies are now more likely to focus the front rank.
Enemies that are unable to use their normal attacks because of their position can now use Desperate Strike.
Heroes have received a major balance pass. Overpowered AoE abilities have been reduced in strength, with each one now covering a more specific combat zone.
The Healer’s Cleansing Prayer is now the strongest Lust-removal ability in the game.
Crusader and Bunny have also received stronger party Lust-cleansing abilities.
Riskier abilities such as Shadow Slash, Phantom Lunge, and Vulcano now deal more damage.
The Mage’s Fire Bolt can now target ranks 1–3 from level 1.
Fire Torrent now applies Burn.
Loot drop rates have been increased. Normal fights now have a 40 percent drop chance, elite fights guarantee a drop, and the Act boss guarantees 1 Epic and 2 Rare items.
Item levels now have a much larger impact, increasing item stats by roughly 15 percent per level.
Equipment carried by fallen heroes is now recovered after an expedition as long as at least one party member survives.
Party HP is now fully restored after every expedition.
Aldric’s Lust is now cleared when returning to town.
A second penance cell can now be purchased at the Church.
Shops now display whether an item is an Upgrade, Sidegrade, or Worse compared to the equipment currently worn by your heroes.
Loot is now fixed per room, preventing players from reloading to reroll rewards.
The main menu has been completely redesigned and now includes a Continue option and information about your most recent campaign.
The dungeon map has been redesigned with fog of war, animated candlelight, and a new room information panel.
The combat screen has been redesigned with a new turn order display, rank indicators, attack previews, and a new skill bar.
Every town location has received a new interface, including the Blacksmith, Emporium, Merchant, Inn, Church, Crimson Embrace, and Tavern.
The party screen has been redesigned. You can now change character positions using arrows, sort the roster, and inspect skills directly from the screen.
New combat visual effects have been added, including blood sprays, blood pools, sparks, and bone fragments.
New ambient visual effects have been added to every location. These effects can be disabled in the Options menu.
The Options menu, dialogue box, and reward screens have all been redesigned.
Tutorial tips now appear the first time a mechanic is encountered and are displayed directly over the relevant game screen.
Pregnancy is now explained the first time it occurs.
Fixed crashes related to Summon Reinforcements, leaving the tutorial, and reaching the End of Act II screen.
Fixed the Vampire’s Blood Rite ability.
Fixed Max HP equipment permanently increasing HP after every fight.
Fixed stun stars appearing over dead enemies.
Fixed item pop-ups appearing twice.
Fixed a black screen that could occur after leaving the Options menu.
Fixed tutorial music playing twice.
Fixed dead heroes remaining in the roster.
Various additional bugs, balance issues, and internal systems have been fixed and improved.
