Set in a post-apocalyptic world where an outbreak has wiped out most of humanity, The One Second Chance follows the story of a Survivor, tasked with escorting a young girl through a land ravaged by the undead. The amount of variables this game tracks is a bit excessive. I wouldn’t be surprised if half of the audience completely missed Ellie’s content purely due to the fact that certain items are required to trigger certain scenes. I’ll leave a rough list of what to look out for (I might edit this later to create a proper guide):

The key mechanic behind this VN seems to be building trust with Ellie, which will open the doors for corrupting her later on (essentially leading to lewd scenes).
Ironically, you can completely miss ALL of the content from the first release of you don’t get the required amount of trust with Ellie. This is the first time I’ve seen a dev heavily punish their audience by outright removing any semblance of a plot while obfuscating the “correct” path.

your being upset about gender LARP’s having a minor canonical edit back to reality (original script the character was NEVER interested in same sex btw) when we have had to suffer absolute GARBAGE where gender larpers rewrite real stories just to shove the phony “ideology” into the general public’s face in a desperate attempt to “normalize” gender larping. MOST of tthese “edits” required serious rewriting in order to make them work with the new wokee crap yet no atteempt to do so was made. Instead they simply shoehorned Gender larping, homosexuality and whatever there little manipulative minds could shove in to the great detriment of the end products.
More then 95% of people surveyed after release of the NON CANONICAL REWRITES said it was crap.
More then 80% admitted the only reason they watched them was peer pressure/”societal expectations”.
Finally 100% of the GAY community (NOT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH GENDER LARPERS as there are NO Lesbian Gay, queer people EVER who were asked if they wanted to be associated with gender larpers and frankly most are pissed about the larpers arbitrarily adding themselves to the gay community!) Clearly stated that they had never seen so much butchery of storylines before!

Yeah, well, I like the CG-style. I like the CG-models. But the intro has been erased (or at least I could not start from the former point of beginning) and we are basically where we left and waited for updates a full fckin year ago.I really hope the story will get going – finally. The ultimate start has been promising, and player was involved. I am not sure about this anymore. But I hope. Would be such a waste of effort and time to not continue – at last.
