There’s a stat system based on choices, but currently only one stat changes: charm.
The purpose of this stat isn’t clear or explained, but I suppose it determines whether the MC is good or evil.
It’s what I expect from a visual novel: the choice to be a good or evil MC.
And the goal of the game is to get revenge, so i’m ok with this.
The problem is that bad MCs can be punished with a game over. Why punish the player for the choices they make? How is this a good idea?
The creator does not take responsibility for choices he himself offers! If he doesn’t want the player to choose them, then why include them?
Especially since bad choices sometimes unlock a sex scene (rape for some).
So, to summarize:
– It’s a porn game
– We’re asked to make good or bad choices
– Bad choices unlock sex scenes
– But bad choices result in a game over
– Sometime we have no choice but to increase our charm stat if we want to continue
Add a very light sandbox (which is good, I don’t like sandbox) but one that forces us to click even if there’s only one choice (a door, for example) or lets us freely explore a place where there’s nothing to do…
