   Researchers at the CDC studied 8,153 men who have sex with men in 21 U.S. cities. The men were taking part in the 2008 National HIV Behavioral Surveillance System, which looked at prevalence and awareness of the human immunodeficiency virus or HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

   Overall, they found that 19 percent of gay men are infected with HIV.

     On a survey by the CDC in 2010, it was found that that 43.8% of lesbian women reported experiencing physical violence, stalking, or rape by an intimate partner on their lifetime. The report notes that, out of those 43.8%, two thirds (67.4%) reported exclusively female perpetrators.

       Now we’re talking. I’m too tired to counter these with facts about straight men rapists and pedophiles against girls, but I hope to remember to put a pin in it and counter that “people are bad, not just gay people”.

       Tho do some math: What is 67% of 43%? Note to self to work this out when not sleepy.

           I’m not sure what that has to do with the data given to us by Nohomo. I think it would be more interesting to see the economic breakdown.

           I still think one of the most interesting bits of information I gleaned from Wikipedia is that straight men would be just as random and promiscuous if it weren’t for women turning them down.

           The irony of this is that one of the “facts” that Nohomo likes to spread is that “modern women” are sluts. One of the things I enjoy doing is finding his half-truths and exploring the whole truth. Most of the time that reveals something personal about him, such as his hatred of most women and his pedophilic tendencies. He seems to truly believe he’s doing the right thing and is honorable, so his never countering me on these things is a fairly strong indicator that he is a pedophile (or at the very least a pedophile apologist) and a misogynist.

           He’s also pretty racist but that has to do with some culture war that he believes he’s fighting.

           Anyway, I don’t know the economic breakdown of the situation. I’m just playing the role of the jury providing evidence that Nohomo’s thesis, “male gays are destroying the world”, is not reasonably true.

       Oh I remembered what it was. Confirmation Bias fallacy. There, I feel like I can rest better knowing I could dismantle at least part of that one.
