How to make three main mistakes in one game:
1. “UI” – make big white letters at the bottom of the screen and add side images for faces separately as if players can’t see pretty obvious characters on their screens. All of this obstructs the picture so now they actually can’t see anything except your shitty interface. Absolutely unbearable. (Good job)
2. “Slowdown!” Destroy the pacing by adding slow camera tilt. Make players anticipate when it finally reaches the crotch level but make it so slow they will skip the scene to the next one before it happens! (“Almost there!” achievement unlocked)
3. “Friends!” Make it about a landlady and her tenants. Nothing beats wasting player’s time by “setting their relationships” at least for four characters at the beginning. Really intriguing start immediately immersing into the game!
Congratulations! Now that the cornerstones of success were laid down you may add optional elements such as daily school routine (complete with annoying bell ring). Just be yourself and think positive!
