The author was inspired by historical references of Ancient Rome to create this game!
This game offers an original storyline including historical characters, side stories, oriented for adults (18+).
The gods of death sent the protagonist’s soul to a parallel world, in the body of a tribune of the Roman Republic who was supposed to die.
Finding himself in another world, when Rome was just beginning to blossom, the protagonist must make a choice that will determine his future life.
Remember, the gods of death are watching you.

Installation:
Extract file from file to the game folder and overwrite when prompted.
MAC:
Unzip the mod -> Right click being a dik -> Click “Show Package Contents” -> Open the “Contents/Resources/autorun” folder -> Hold the Option key and drag the folder named “game” from the mod into the “autorun” folder -> Click merge

Ancient Times [v0.2] – The game has still a lot of bugs at this stage and the UI is not really intuitive. To progress in the story the user has to activate the red crystal in the bottom right corner and then choose the location with the ! mark.
Apart from that – the Author can still make a decent game out of what it is at the moment.
My guess is the author had to throw out a half baked game in order to try and get some financial support – though it would have been much better to iron out the blatant problems before that step…
Most of the bad ratings are probably due to the bugs and bad usability (and no tutorial or explanation on how to play the game).

The developer must first learn how to properly set the lighting of the room because the stage is dark! The scenes themselves are terribly staged, the crooked angles like the dialogues in the game are very bad!
