  1. This was a waste of time. The renders were below average and the story has more holes in it, than swiss cheese. Not to mention, that the characters all look like mice, with noses that are too small for their faces. The story wasn’t enough to keep me interested. I got about an hour into the game, and started to fall asleep, so I tried to finish it the next day, and just ended up fast clicking through all of the unnecessary dialogue… and there was a lot of it.

  2. Played through to book 2 and cracks are starting to show. its a fantasy game so suspension of disbelief is already out the fucking window. but the dev clearly is a britbong that has no idea how an actual military works and believes the entire US military runs on 100% digital components. which is what allows the story, to allow itself, to take place. instead of saying “its magic, nukes just dont work” its “haha lol the b2 cant fly the nuke and even if it could the nuke wouldnt work because its electronic” like yeah you already established that laptops dont work in magical fairyland but oops haha they do because you have one in the castle at camelot.
it sucks cuz the story has a decent premise with old gods and outerversal beings and a whole system of magic that works. but it cant keep the real world physics from eating its own tail.

there are, what appear to be meaningful, dialogue choices but thus far no consequences have appeared to punish you for dialogue choices. so theres no point in reading the dialogue outside the potentially fascinating story and worldbuilding. compounding that you cant even spam click to get to the juicy scenes because dialogue options loop back into themselves and you have to combine different choices to move on past the juicy scenes.

ingame time is finite. you have only so many days to explore all options and get all sidequests done. many of which require multiple days or even weeks of farming money to progress at all. and its designed to not allow you to go back and replay the story if you missed anything before you get to the end. you have to start entirely over. it took me about 15 hours to get through book one. and im 4 hours into book 2. no clue what the future holds. just hope the dev gets off his own dick.
