A novel in general is supposed to make you root for the MC; this one is so stupid, boggler and immature that doesn’t make me feel nothing but embarrassment for his behaviour, in contrast with the ladies around him that are not only smarter but in a totally different league. The story-telling is boring and full of old VHS scary movies kitsch, and the action pacing is soap-opera like – you could resume 8 episodes in couple of phrases. The most atrocious part of the script is the dream from the motel: predictable and lacks any sign of imagination. A waste of time…
