People still seem to be struggling with unlocking expedition chests, so I figured I’d skim the game code and post the complete list here. As of v0.25.3, there are 19 chests: 1 tutorial, 17 randomised, and 1 missable Patreon exclusive (linked to the Snow White Gold Coin quest).
Note: As the game tells you, all codes must be entered in capital letters only, with no spaces or punctuation. Three of the chests have a couple of accepted answers; these are separated by a forward slash [/]. Only enter one of the 2 codes.

These chests all have an equal chance of appearing. You should only be able to find each one once.
After rolling for a 1/25 chance of finding ‘TREASURE!’ (80-250 credits), there will be a 1/30 chance to discover a locked chest. After all chests have been unlocked, generic credits will be granted instead (1-65 credits based on drone distance).

Note: If you have already used the Crowned Coin to end Snow White’s “The Wishing Well” quest, this chest (and all remaining gold coins) will become unavailable and unusable.
This chest can only be found at a drone distance of 4-6 (stone tower, abandoned village or abandoned church)
The code cannot be entered until you’ve progressed through the patreon quest and been told the code in-game. You should then find the chest a second time and be able to enter the code.
Opening this chest will grant you the ‘Unintelligible data’, allowing you to get the Two-Headed Coin.
